Dr. Shanna Naider, PT, DPT, OCS, CDNS
Shanna Naider hails from Northern Virginia. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Rehabilitation Science and a certificate in Pathokineisiology. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh in 2017. A former dancer, Shanna has worked in Outpatient Orthopedics and Sports since 2017 where she specialized in rehabilitation of dancers and performing artists, providing coverage for the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. She also specialized in treating hip injuries, working closely with one of the top hip surgeons in Pittsburgh. She is a proponent of utilizing manual techniques and empowering patients to take an active role in their injury recovery. She is certified in Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Therapy and as a Mat Level 1 Pilates instructor through PHI Pilates, as well as a Certified Dry Needling Specialist. Shanna still dances recreationally and has enjoyed teaching ballet for adults over the past 10+ years as well.
